Starting September 26th, 2012 video replays will be offered in .mp4 format. These should play on Windows XP and above with the latest version of Windows Media Player, MacOS X 10.8, and most mobile devices(Android, iPhone, iPad, etc)

GGP replay videos before September 26th are stored in .wmv format. In order to view these videos, you will need Windows Media Player 7 or greater.  Windows Media Player 9 or greater is needed to save videos. The replay videos can be viewed on both Windows and Macintosh machines with Windows Media Player.

Individual Race Videos Instructions:
|
After selecting the Month and Year videos you wish to view, the list of available replay videos will be presented.
The filenames are all labeled as followed:
ggm0131r01.wmv
The first 2 letters - gg - represent Gulf Greyhound Park
The next letter - m in this example - signifies that this race is a Matinee race. This value can be 'm', 'e', 's', or 'x'. 'm' = Matinee, 'e' = Evening, 's' = Schooling, & 'x' = Encore ( no sound is provided for Schooling! )
The next 4 numbers represent the date - 0131 in this example would be January 31st. The first 2 digits are the month, and the following 2 are the day.
The next letter - r - stands for race
The final 2 numbers - 01 in the example - Is the race number of this racecard.
.wmv is the file format, and will be on the end of every video
You will also be given file size, approximate download times for each race on dsl/cable and 56k dialup, and a box that says 'Go'. To view the race of your choice, find it on the list of available races, and click on the 'Go' box. This will open up Windows Media Player and start buffering the race video. The video will start playing when Windows Media Player has enough video to play without pausing. The amount of time this takes widely varies according to how fast your Internet connection is. Once there is enough video buffered to play, Windows Media Player will play the video. At this point, you will be able to play and pause videos.
Once the video is completely downloaded, you will also have the option to move to any point in time during the race with the slider bar at the bottom. This feature will not be available until the video is completely downloaded. Also, once the video is completely downloaded, you also have the option to save the video. This is available under the 'File' menu, and simply choose the 'Save As' or 'Save Media As' option.

Performance Race Videos Instructions:

You will also be given approximate file size, approximate download times for each race on dsl/cable and 56k dialup, and a box that says 'Go'. To download the performance of your choice, find it on the list of available performances, and click on the 'Go' box. This will allow you to download the selected performance. The download may take up to 1 minute to start depending on your internet speed!
Once the zip file is completely downloaded, you will be able to open it, and view all the races for that performance.
